Dave is testing the comfiness of his hay lined snow pit. Dave brought his 30 degree summer sleeping bag, and figured that the pit would provide protection from wind, and perhaps also from the annoying Gold Camp smoke.

Ready for another fine night of sleep

After a long day of speedy skiing and short breaks, Dave made the final cut-off by 25 minutes. The sun made its only appearance of the weekend, and there was lovely cruising to the finish.
